It should already be like that. Is there 2 wires up there that don't go to anything?
I think one was black and the other was blue?

Define "automatically". You want it on all the time when ignition is on (not good)?

if you can just replace the fan switch on the thermo housing its next to the rad hose if you can then put a paper clip in the switch harness plug then it will stay on when the car is on. i had to do that alot but the switch will fix that.

sounds like you need to get a relay for your fan
or rewire it to your fuse box

Go to the junkyard and get whatever you need to put it back to stock. Find where they cut the wires... or hopefully they left them intact. But it's likely they fucked the car up to shit if they're stupid enough to connect it directly to the battery.

You probably also have a bad coolant switch and that's why they did that in the first place. There are three coolant sensors and I no longer remember which is for the rad fan. But you can go to hondahookup and download the helms which has the wiring diagram. Check the troubleshooting charts in the sensors section and that tells you which CLT is which.

Pretty sure it's the one wire pin switch under the distributor.
