is there any way to wire it where you could leave the lights on and when you turned the car off they would turn off as well ? i have a 95 civic dx and cant tell you how many times i've forgot them on lol

find a source that has power only when the switch is on, theres a pin in your fuse box that has it or you can go right off the ignition switch.... idk how hard it is to do, you would just have to find the right spot on your switch to tap into.... id look at some wiring diagrams in a haynes manual... hope this is some help

look at the higher class cars, like Mercedes or BMW.. they have it aswell..
Maybe you can find a electrical circuit of those cars... and make it the same on the civic..

Huh?! What "circuit" are you going to cut??

First response was perfect. Cut the headlight's constant power and run it to ignition power. Don't forget a fuse and to cap the constant.

There's nothing on any other kind of car that will do this for you. It's just wires.

Some Chevrolets have automatic headlights that turn off a couple minutes after the car is off, as well as most high-end cars, but i get what you're saying

Ahhh. Yeah to do that you need a pulse timer. Get one and I'll tell you how to wire it.
