Civic EG

kk so my signal light is messed up and im pretty sure it's just the signal light switch screwing around with me, now I was just wondering can anyone help locate it so I can get one from the junk yard and take out my old one?

could be 2 things, bad combination switch or a stuck relay. i would check the relay first, not shure how the eg's are set up but in the relay box there should be one for left and right, you can rule out the posiblity of a stuck relay by switching the right one to the left and left one to the right, if you have the same problem but with the left indicator not shutting off, then you no where your problem is. just buy a new relay.

now on the other hand if the relay isnt the problem its the combination switch but my money is on the relay. good luck with fixing your problem

*EDIT* you may also wanna try removing the hazard relay ( if it has one) or just swaping some around, kinda hard to explain, just screw around with it you should see what i mean

Hey man thanks for the reply but in these past four hours I tore down my dash and fucked around with the thing that connects to the harness. My buddy also spotted some spare parts and we got it working perfect again.
