hi guys,
just purchase a b16a2 and there looks to be half of the evap solenoid on the intake.

i read somewhere that OBD1 will not look for it?...is this true?

do i need it?... dont really wanna buy one as i hear they are quite pricey

You can get one from the junkyard. Doesn't have to be the same engine, just the same OBD generation. It accounts for about 3mpg, and not-having it will cause a fuel vapor smell inside the car.

only thing missing on this is the filter cap .. u can leave it like this or use any
evap filter cap u can find around..
