aftermarket tach question

I have a sunpro tach I am gonna use in my 95 cx hatch with a d16a6 swap. Can I run the signal wire for my taxh to the blue test wire in the drivers side of the engine bay instead of my coil. The coil is a msd blaster 2.

yes just splice into that blue wire should be good
