How do you install Push Start Toggle switch?

I have a question on how to install a engine start switch like the one in the picture?
I have searched everywhere and the diagrams that i get does not look easy and i don't want to screw up my ignition, just want to know if this would be wise to DIY or let someone else do this instead. I have some electrical experience but not with car electrics. I dont want to buy the unit and then I screw up my ignition system just because i am to lazy to turn a key (which will still be needed as far as i know)
