Hi Guys,

I have just put a OBD2a B16a2 into my OBD0 Non vtec LSI

my setup:
chipped p28> 0bd1 sir interior harness>obd1 vti engine harness

i have modified the obd1 VTI Engine harness
*swapped injectors for obd2
*rewired dizzy and alternator for obd2
*extended the iat sensor

When i came to install the MAP sensor, i used the original OBD0 interior harness for the map sensor wire and plug and spliced it into the shock plugs of the sir obd1 interior harness.

i done this because there wasn't a spare plug on the obd1 engine harness, as the map sensor was originally located on the fire wall/ now on the throttle body.

the engine starts up and sounds ok... it has a slight high idle and its massively over fueling.

i have been told by my mechanic the sensors need wiring up correctly?
would this cause these symptoms?

im starting to doubt things i have done now, just need someone to lemme know im on the right tracks and help me sort this bloody over fueling and high idle then i can put it in for the MOT :)

hope ya'll can help!

are you running a 3 wire plug?? because on my wiring diagram there is 3 wires.

im going to try and explain this as easy as i can.

there is 3 wires
wire 1 is white
wire 2 is green/blue or green/white
wire 3 is yellow/green or yellow/red

wire 1 goes to d17, wire 2 goes to d21, and wire 3 goes to d19
