anyone dealt with jdm head unit in us

I purchased a eclipse avn4404 out of a rhd ITR... well my issure is it is not reading any cd's or dvd's..... I have tried a cleaning disk and it does not even read that also... any suggestions would help.. thanks

well a integra itr even newer car really dont play dvd's as well as depending on the year it might now play mp3's wma's it probaly will only play regular cds from like walmart or a group or something.....i tried to look up the deck but came up with no pics so if you could snap some....

the reader might be messed up.
either way it would play CD or CR-W/RW format if it was in working condition.
