Advantage of aftermarket LCAs

What is the advantage of having aftermarket LCAs?
Is it for the weight, strength or purely cosmetic?
Is it considered to be unsprung weight?

worth doin if your old stock bushings are worn out though..
i got polished skunk2's. i love how they look

They let you run an anti roll bar if your stock LCAs don't have provisions for one.

dont forget most aftermarket LCA's are also lighter in weight too.
