Last night I was cruisin at 70 mph when I suddenly hit the ground in a shower of sparks. I managed to get my car to the shoulder to find that my tire, with control arm and all is sitting at a 90' to my frame. Its at a shop now and i believe it was a tie rod, but haven't gotten time look at it. Does anyone know the other potential problems that may have happened during dragging my car to the side of the road at that speed? I love my civic but it has 214,xxx on it, and I'm afraid this maybe to much to be worth repairing... thanks for any help or ideas.

ill buy it

to bad youre so far...sorry to hear about your car. hope it dont cost to much to get it repaired. you should do a visual inspection of the car...look at everything on the underside..then take it to a mechanic have them verify if everything else is okay...and then look at teals D.I.Y. tie rod replacement. hope that helps?

if it was turned all the way sideways, you may have wore an uneven spot in your tire from skidding. Check your CV joints too. Any pics?
