ok i have searched around, and have found how to determine how stiff a spring rate is, but my question is. what is the oem spring rate? i'm looking into the possibility of getting coilovers after christmas and want to have an idea how stiff they are before i get em.

PS: Lowtec, if someone has the info you should post it in your sticky

Couldn't find EG rates, but 96-00 EX rates 165F/80R so close enough

I don't mind the softness, for bumps, its the height and body roll that bothers me lol

pretty sure the 92-00 has no difference in spring rates. I'll revise the sticky to incooperate the stock suspension

96-00 EX - 165 lb/in F, 80 lb/in R (Prog/Prog)

these are for the EKs, and i'm not really sure if the spring rates for the EGs are the same, but these should give us a general idea of the range :D

The EG shouldnt be the same. The car weighs less.
