I, with not much experience, changed my front brakes a few weeks ago. I think i did everything fine but while I'm driving, not braking, there is a squeaking noise. When i apply the brake, it stops. HELP.
What did i do wrong and how do I fix it?
Thanks.

There's that special grease that you can put behind the pad to prevent the squeaking. It comes in little plastic packets and they usually have it up by the counter at autozone.

yeah a bit of copper grease on the back of the pads normally works.

When I was applying the grease, this is what i saw:
This is what i get for being cheap or for being a shitty driver?
What causes this?

I buy the cheap ones to, but ive never had a problem like that. Are you hard on your brakes? I think the pads u got was just a poorly made one.

I don't brake too hard at all, but anyway, i replaced them and put grease on the new ones.
They were still under warranty so i got my money back.
