rear drums aren't self adjusting

for some odd reason i have to keep re adjusting my rear drums every 4-5 months cause my brake pedal will go to the floor, does anyone else have this problem? or could someone shed light for me
ps: the brake resevoir is full, and ive only had to top it off once since ive owned the car.

make sure your adjusters are not in backwards

When you last changed out the shoes did you change out hardware as well? May have worn springs. Particularly the one that keeps the stop on the star adjusters from reverting back.

^^yes, when i did the rear brakes i got all new hardware and i replaced the right drum. the left side was fine so i didn't mess with it.
@92civiclx- the adjusters are in the right place.
