So my hatch has recently been doing this thing where if i stop facing down hill and i brake it works right at first then it slowly depresses further and further until its on the floor then i start to roll forward. Any ideas?

Check your master cylinder fluid level. It's probably low since it happens when on a hill. If it's low, you may have a leak.

maybe air bubbles in the brake line?

checked my master cylinder and this is what i found.

Also i did a test on a road with a very slight downgrade, just barely a hill. same thing happens.

could the master cylinder just have gone bad? cause there's no leaks that i can find. and if it were air bubbles it wouldn't happen all the time, i think?

just my thoughts.

im not 100% sure.. last week my brake pedal went right to the floor, and had no brakes at all. it was my rear wheel cylinder, maybe you have a small leak and cant see it because its inside the drum

Sounds like it could be logical. But my car has the dc2 rear disc conversion.

I would replace the whole master cylinder, same thing happened to me just a few weeks ago.
