heres my painted steelies.. i had to repaint them. for some reason they faded to kind of an orange. i painted em with the krylon fluorescent in the pic. primer, white basecoat and the pink and then clear..

im kinda growin on em.. i get alot of looks with these in my town. i guess straight guys arent allowed to rock pink stuff.. i like the fact they can be one color one day and paint em for the next day..

Does the white base coat actually make them lighter?

haha love it! i had purple steelies on an ej6 hatch when i was in highschool. got so many strange looks.
the polished lip looks awesome too!

if you dont have the white basecoat it wont be bright florescent pink... just kinda dark pink.

i'd know. i painted my entire car with this stuff and it faded

then last year i painted my wheels with it and cleared them and no fading at all

makes them brighter.. i have a feeling thats why they faded so bad..

Yea thats how I painted My fog covers and hood pins I also cleared em and theyvlasted a few good months nkw thel all faded
