what color wheels go with gold car
Posted: Thu Dec 13, 2012 1:11 amPainting my hatch gold. Tomorrow picking up a set of 7 spoke wheels that have some minor scratches and I want to paint them. So what color would go good with a gold hatch?

Posted: Thu Dec 13, 2012 4:37 amI say colormatch the spokes to the gold and polish the lip. Contrast the color of the brake calipers and lugnuts for a nice effect.
Posted: Thu Dec 13, 2012 6:07 amI've seen silver work (not chrome - looks cheap ) and most dark colors (black, gunmetal etc). You can also go the color route. But it depends on what kind of gold the car is.

If you want something a little crazy and different from the norm I'd go with dark colors like dark blue/navy, dark red/maroon, or dark green/forest. I think any of these colors would go good with gold if you want to go that route.
