hey gents...
i have a set of 17's that i had on my '04 EX layin around and my tires are about ready to be replaced, so i figured if i gotta buy tires anyway...why not try 17's.

heres my dilema....i dont know if it will look good or not, or be a sound choice based on fit and ride quality.

Anybody got any pics of some clean 17's on an eg hatch with about 1" drop? Or any other advice from some veteran eg owners?

I had 17's on my car a few years back, I didnt have any issues with rubbing at stock height, I can't see a 1" drop being a problem. I must say my 16's ride a lot nicer then my 17s ever did lol.

I used to have 17's it didn't ride very nice and did not look as good as 15's

i liked 17's on mine but it scrubbed the inner tyre away.

But with 15's it accelerates and handles much better

that's the problem with 17's. they never go with a small under chassis of eg hatch. unles modified. 15's are ideal size for comfort and fuel efficiency
