I am a noobie to the eg game and have fallen in love
as most of us have. I recently got my first eg, a 92 cx, and a friend of mine gave me a set of wheels that he no longer wanted. They are a really nice wheel, but I am not sure if they are right for the eg. They were free, but I had to replace 1 tire and have a crack fixed. They are Giovanna G-racing Kyotos with Falken Ziex tires (80-90% tread). I love the style, but they are 18s off of his accord. They seem a bit large to me, but free is almost too good to pass up. Please give me some feed back on if I should just run them for a little while or replace them with a set of 16s or 17s. I haven't had any major problems with rubbing, only when I turn the wheel as far as it will go in a u-turn and then its not much.
I just want to be careful because my best friend gave them to me and I don't want to just turn around and sell them. He paid about $2500 for them a few years back and could have easily sold them for money, but gave them to me instead. Anyhow, I immediately found myself some skunk2 coil overs in order to drop down the height of the car and help make the wheels look not so big. I also plan on putting a lip kit on to help lower the profile of the car.
Give me a yay or a nay!
