#189458 I'm looking to upgrade to HID lights, but not sure about the socket size. I bought some Halo headlights a while back and my OEM bulbs slid in there perfectly. If it helps here are some pictures. I would take closer ones, but it's dark out and I just had these on my computer.

#189521 I'm not sure I'll take a look after work today. When I installed them the stock headlights simply just plugged into these and worked fine.

But did you put a bulb in the headlight, it's not the socket you need it's the bulb size, I had a friend who got a set of lights like those for his old hatch and they came with bulbs already, his used H3, and I'm assuming your's are too, for two reasons, most headlights like those come with H3, and cause it's stamped on the outside of the headlight

I didn't buy a new bulb I used the one that was originally in the stock headlights. Thanks tho your logic makes sense.

#189525 Mind posting a picture of the bulb, cause H3 and H4/9003(stock headlight size) are completely different in size and shape, And the socket in the projector would be too small for an H4 to fit in

#189546 Yeah I will tomorrow sometime. What's a good place to buy HID bulbs? I didn't realize how expensive they were until I started looking and I don't want to spend that much and get ripped off.

#189547 DDMtuning.com you can get em for less then $40

I'm currently running their ballasts for my retrofit, and they are good quality and nice and small to fit almost anywhere

#189632 this picture should give you an idea of what bulb you're using,

the H4 is the OEM type, the H3 is what normally comes in those projectors
