hatch door trims

im looking into taking off my door trims along the doors , i was wonder has any1 done it before and are they clipped it stuck onto the car , and how easy is it to removing them ??

the have a plastic clip on the backside of them and on the very ends i think they have screws, there kinda a bitch to get off, and there will be holes there when you remove them...

i cant see ur pic

so are you going to fill the groove in and completly shave it of just weld the holes shut and keep the factory outline like a cx or vx has? my boosted cars has them completely shaved, (it was like that when i got it) personanaly i wouldnt recomend doing it like that unless you weld metal in and make it flush with metal and use a skim coat of filler, if you just fill it in with fiber glass (like the boy did mine) it will just crack out...

i just want to make my civic that bit diffrent

but im keeping the door handles and mirrors black

well, it wont be that different since a few of the hatch models come from the factory without moldings or holes, just the outline..

there's none done like it in the UK , most of them are smoothed over

personally i like the cx/vx look, its the cleanest look imo, i personally dont want to take the time to fill them in on mine because of how it was allready done...
