ok so ive been wanting a set of these forever......... but just recently some1 told me i cant run hid's with them ........... is this true?

most likely yes because of the plastic clear cover.

even if they did have plastic covers that shouldn't stop you because HID's generate less heat than standard halogen bulbs

thats what im saying but b.c edm has daytimes ..... everyone is saying no i cant have em?!?!?!?!
i want edm bad but i wanna have the option of hid's if i choose that option

you can run HIDs with headlights that have citylights.
SO many friends are doing it.

Troof I have 5000k HIDs in my JDM headlights with city lights.

if not do only edm have them and not jdm or vise versa

i think the difference is that DRL's automatically come on and the courtesy lights or "city lights" you can turn on and off.
both JDM and Euro Spec headlights have "city lights"
only US hondas that i know of that has City lights is the 5th gen prelude.

Aftermarket HID in JDM or EDM headlights...
Do cops give you guys a hard time with aftermarket HID in your areas? Especially in California?
