#68013 Hi All,

I am in the process of getting a Welder to fix the panel on my 93 Si Coupe, It will mainly be use to weld thin body panel. The one that I am interested in is the LINCOLN ELECTRIC HANDY MIG WELDER with the gas
accessories all set up.
Has anyone use this welder? ratings,,.
Is 35 Amps low enough to weld on the Civic's panel?
The panel is thin, I think Its 24 gauge mild steel.
This welder is rated at 35-88 amps 4 settings.
The main reason I am picking this welder is the cost factor.
It is very cheap at Sears in the states ($299).

Thanks,

#68022 sounds like almost the same one I bought...

I got mine for $420 shipped brand new on ebay. It did not include the cart in the pic, but came with a mask & gloves.

Definitely get the gas from a local supply, flux core = very sloppy welds.

Mine was perfect for the panels, and even heavy duty enough to make a ghetto engine bracket from thicker steel. I believe the thickest steel I can weld with this welder is 1/4"
