The red paint in my engine bay is pretty roughed up. I was thinking about painting the engine bay black...Has anyone else done it? Pics possibly?

you planning on leaving the engine in?

Chicago Mike painted his bay from red to black and it looks great!

Don't do it in flat black like I did. Cleaning it is a pain! Gloss ftw

i used a rattle can flat black made for bbq grills... i figured.. high heat? hahaha lol oh well. the og red was looking pink so i rattle canned it when the engine was out.

these are the only pics i have atm.

Here ya go. I did my swap and painted while the motor was out. First the bay was pressure washed, and then I went at it with rattle cans.
