I can't believe

- Wed Nov 26, 2008 4:52 pm #80482 so i bought a clean eg, so i thought so . when I took the rear weather strip on the rear off and found rust stain on the black wheather strip. i took a peek inside the rear well in saw some light rust is between the inner and outter lip, i clean it out with wire brush sand and every thing else but there are some left in between the inner and outter lip. what should i do??

- Wed Nov 26, 2008 5:37 pm #80492 it's going to come back thru eventually. cut & replace the arch is the only cure for the long long run. You should take off your interior panel and see how it looks from the inside.

You could always look into applying a rust inhibitor on what is there what you can't get to.
