EK- EG front end conversion?

- Wed Jan 14, 2009 5:30 pm #88954 Anybody here have any input on putting a EG front clip onto my buddys EK have the full front end including rad support. Just hopig to not have to jump into this blind folded however if i do there will be pics and a diy.

- Wed Jan 14, 2009 6:00 pm #88961 umm i kinda like it..:? .. but all the dyi threads you have to cut both fenders and weld them back together, its a lot of work, try looking on honda tech, use the search on there or you will get flamed hardcore, and just to add you might get flamed on here for the whole idea

So putting tiny eg headlights won't flow for shit. It would just look weird

thats really all I found that was some what decent... :? ... if you do the front end conversion.... just make sure everything lines up and looks good.... i dont like the ek front ends on egs when they were half assed but i have seen some really good ek front end conversions on egs .... good luck :thumb:

- Fri Jan 16, 2009 3:27 pm #89469 it looks out of proportion dude, tell you friend to look at some pics of them first and look at it from different angles, would be better doing a ek9 conversion all he needs is a grill, back and front lips, spoiler and a little slamming, that will look hot. i'll try find some pictures for you however, i'm sure theres a thread on here with different front ends n stuff

I searched around for pics but with no luck. Ive since reconsidered but would still maybe like to see what this would look like. :D anyone help?

Personally, i think both front ends are good, both go with the car they were designed on.. where i find the big diff is = the tail. EG tail > EK. i could go either way on the front ends, but it would be neat to see. gonna be funner to try and build..
