window trim

anybody knows a di thread about the trim on our window..mine is black. I would like to polish mine..dunno how to d it.

Maybe you could just sand all the black rubber like coating.
Because mine is starting to chip and peel,so my silver is being exposed.

Yeah tealDX did a write-up. Although he sanded it to re-paint it.
The bad thing is that it's virtually impossible to remove w/out breaking all the clips. I would suggest doing it while leaving them on the car. Just take off your side mirrors, get a few stages of fine sand paper, and sand away.

really?even those on the bottom can be sanded..i thought it's a rubbery plastic material..thanks..I can't find the DIY thread here.

ooops a little more broswing , found it.

..silver trim is better for me..especially on black,red or blue colored eg..what eg variant came up with that silver window trim?

I think all ferio's.
They have silver trim right around the whole window.

jdm ferios only?philippine eg roll out from factory without black trim, is it possible when sand all the rubber coating material the silver would appear??well I guess the only way to know is if I do it myself..
