i heard that there is some sort of wax or paste that you can use to help take off scratches like light scratches. do you know what it is?
also my paint is fading clouding up. i wanted to know if i sand and buff will it come out? what do i use to buff? what brands do you recommend? my car needs a butt load of tlc in the paint department.

Well 2000 wet sand paper and lightly flatten the scratches and then use a buffer with a polishing compound such as meguiars or G3..

ok rule of thumb. if you can feel the scratch with you nail than it to deep to fix. ya 2000 is a lil usless to do any thing. thats for like a supper small scratch. you better of wet sanding with 1000 or 1500. ya meguiars makes good stuff but 3m is way better. FTW. and some stuff you can do buy hand. but in order to do a good fix you need a good cut compund than a basic compound and finish it of with a foam pad and polish to bring out the shine. this being done with a buffer. hope it helps.
