3000k hid on EG fogs

- Thu Feb 26, 2009 5:07 am #99074 i asked that on another forum, cuz i have 8000k on headlights, and have a spare set of ballasts stored in my house, and wanted to know that, from what i have heard in a local store, where they sell HID, it has been done, you just need to cut something in the bottom part of the fogs, but my big question is, if the bulbs will fit, cuz you know that HID bulbs are longer then the normal ones!

If you wanna fit them into the fog lights, you need to get the H3 ones which are gonna be smaller. Dont quote me on this but i also wanna know how to do it. Im almost debating whether to do this or just get some PIAA yellow bulbs.

- Fri Feb 27, 2009 1:09 am #99213 the funniest part is that i had one of my bulbs outside of the headlights, since i was going to glue the bulb to the base of the normal bulb, since my bulbs are h3, and i forgot that i had my fogs sitting in a box, waiting for my car to be painted, and i could have put them in to see if they fit, but by the time i though of that, they were in the headlights :-s
