If you didn't care about the wheels/steering wheel/battery I'm sure you could cut the costs a lot if you told him to leave that out.
Personally I wouldn't pay over 2 grand for the shell unless it has good history, the interior is nice, you don't need to spend more money on wiring, and the car isn't filled with body filler under the paint job.

. dude ill make my car a shell and you can buy it. I wouldn't pay more than 700-900 for a clean shell. Here in florida they are pretty cheap and in good shape.


i'd have to know someone very well to trust a "zero needs" k20 hatch for 5500. thats friends and family prices... not craigslist.
