i have a 93 coupe manual transmission and just recently my reverse lights started acting up before it would kind of flicker on and off as i moved through gears but now its on all the time no matter what it drives me crazy :shock:

not to mention if i get a cop behind me i could get a ticket :thumbdown:

ive looked every where to see if anyone has the answer to this problem and it always comes down to the same things its either a short, the backup light switch, or a fuse.... is there any to figure which one it is and does any one know how to fix it

If you are concerned about getting a ticket in the meantime before you fix it just take the bulbs out while you're driving.

Could be a wire for the reverse lights just grounded it self out. and just needs to be fixed

Or it could be the reverse switch on the transmission has gone bad. It's on the top with 2 wires going to it.
