Civic EG

Hello everyone, im new to the forum. I daily drive an rsx but i recently got my hands on an eg hatch shell. Is there a thread on here where i could get info or opinions on engines dropped into the eg? I havent really looked yet. thanks,

something that should help you choose an swap is what will trhe car be used for? (auto-x, daily driver, drag, etc)

and how much do you want to spend?

I am always asking people those questions but it's the first step when planning a swap

i was thinking about doing a d16 sohc vtec with a d15 block...simply because it will cost me next to nothing. Im pretty broke right now. I am going to build the head and eventually the bottom end to boost it.

If cash is tight right now, do a set up thats easy on the pocket. You can always do upgrades down the road.

Or just save . That's what I'm being forced to do. I bought the car, did the necessary upgrades (rims, interior, electronics) and now I'm just waiting to do the serious stuff when my life and bank account can afford it.

It's kind of sad, because working on it and improving it is so much fun, but then down the road I can do some mean upgrades
