So hey whats up everyone?!

I'm new here and i wanted to say hi to all of you and i would love to intreduce myself!

You can all just call me mrgarfiield and im from Quebec City Canada. Yes im french but im perfectly bilangual. except my spelling can blow. in both languages dont worry xD

I'm now finishing my schooling to become a Carpenter and im looking into getting myself a nice lttle EG hattch and moding it to look pretty much like this!


but i have a question(yes i know on my first day! xD) but i was wondering what were the differences between the CX DX VX and SI? if anyone had a chart or something? showing what they offer and there motor specks to?

what would you say tho? VX is 92 hp with vtec-e which sounds good to me. cuz i heard the si had a good engine(125hp vtec) but its so heavy with all the equipment thats its pretty much equal to the VX and DX. and well i would want vtec. for the fact that engine swap will only be after a year or so. ill be doing the body first and then a swap. but i dont want a cx cuz its lowest hp and cheapest from what i herd.

im kinda all confused lol.im wondering between vx and si rly. dx doesnt ahve vtec right? so screw that.

or am i jsut all getting this wrong? lol. you have to excus me for that im pretty much a mechanics noob...but i want to learn! i love to learn

vx has vtec-e which is for economy instead of preformance. the si has the real vtec. Welcome to the site, I am jealous of your civic

Am I the only one who read his intro wrong or does he WANT to get an EG and make it look like that?

I interpreted it that he doesn't have one yet, hence why he was asking about the trims and the differences between them...

no i dont have that eg yet. lol

im buying my eg in april and thats my project.

If you get your help from this site and look at what others have done for inspiration you can't go wrong

Just avoid a certain thread about painting your engine bay with your engine still in, unless you want to see what NOT to do haha.

Do it right, make it tight
