well, i signed up for the forum, even though i dont have an eg yet, but hopefully that will change if goes well this weekend.

im comin over from the integra crowd, and.. well. long story short.

teg got stolen and stripped, got it back minus the jdm front, dc5 wing, and random interior things.

im wondering though... with this eg im picking up, will i be able to use anything from the teg? suspension, rear disk swap, anything?

also, im planning on ditching the single cam and throwin in my ls motor. what all do i need for the swap?

mounts
axles
ecu
throttle cable?
shift linkage?

what else..?

thanks,

dan

if your teg is a 94-95 almost everything will be a direct swap.

If your teg is 96-01 you will need to use wiring conversion harnesses or reuse some of the obd1 stuff, such as injectors, map sensor, speed sensor, and distributor.

if your 92-93 you can swap the engine over just fine, you will need a hydrolyic transmission or a cable to hydro tranny conversion. Seats wont bolt up correctly, but can be made to with some customizing.

if you running a 90-91 Teg then you can reuse your engine, but will need to convert it to OBD1 instead of OBD0, Agian you will need a hydro tranny.

Almost everything will swap over.
Engine and Tranny will go over easy using the integra mounts and linkage. Seats will bolt up perfectly. All brakes will swap over (Bigger fount disks, rear disks). All Suspension parts will swap over, i.e. Larger Sway bars, etc.
Just about everything major will swap over with little to no hassle. If you get a Coupe or Sedan the Exhaust should bolt over as well.

Some Interior peaces wont line up properly, Such as the armrest. It will bolt in, but the lines dont flow perfectly. The instrument cluster needs so modding, but can also go in.

Once you drop in your B18b1 with I/H/E you will be a good deal quicker then the engine in your teg. Thats because your now 200-300 pounds lighter.

Just out of Curiosity what EG are you planning on Getting?

LS webs look so good on hatches when they are dumped :hehe:

I look forward to seeing your project. It should make a nice fast Hatch. :thumb:
