Anyways...I notice the piece has 4-5 of these....brown spots...rust? Did I get ripped off on the bumper reinforcement?

also im not to sure if its just me but that core support just dosent look right to me looks off a bit and yea its only surface rust sand it prime it done....

If you want to pay shipping i have one off my friends 4dr he couldnt use anymore its in decent condition tho idk how much itd be shipping wise.....

- Sat Nov 14, 2009 7:45 am #156528 haha No thanks man. I appreciate the offer. Anyway, I paid $357 for the support from Honda. There was no room for negotiation. Extreme rip off...but oh well. And the bumper reinforcement was $60 from an online autoparts store.

- Mon Nov 16, 2009 8:34 pm #156836 no you didnt get riped off. trust me i see that all the time. working for a body shop i see this. but its fine. its only surface rust. plus you will have to paint it any ways. so just sand the rust spots and throw a lil bit of etch prime and you good. 350 is about what thewy go for all day long.

- Sat Nov 21, 2009 1:07 am #157624 New update! Just picked up the car from the shop. Here are some pics of the rad support welded on and re-aligned fenders. The left side hangs lower than the right because the left side is being propped up by some metal carnage under the hood. Cost me $500 =[

- Sat Nov 28, 2009 6:03 am #158733 Alright. More updates. I started putting the car back together today and I got a reasonable amount done...however, I can't remember where these brackets go on the front end? There are two, one for the left and one for the right. Any help?

I figured out where the brackets go. And to top it off, I pretty much finished it. The right side head light is a little bit off. But the hood latches, it's pretty flush with the fenders. The side markers are a little off with the fenders, and I had to use a DIY custom mount brace for the head light mounts from the accident. Other than the car being in serious need of a tune up, she's pretty much done. Oh yeah, I also broke the rusted license plate mount when screwing in the screw. Looks like it was so rusted, I screwed the screw hole out of the hole...if you know what I mean. So now it's being held by one screw on the left hole. Isn't that the pits.... Anyway, here is the end result.
