Civic EG

hey guys

When i drive my car for a while then the ecu light goes on and the car will jerk at a certain rpm or while light is on and i accelerate gradually my car will jerk( like it is missing), my idling rpm is always 800 900 rpms but when the light is on it is around 1100 to 1200 rpm. now i have discovered when the light is on i just give the ecu a tap and the light will just go away and the idling is normal again. so it drop back to 800rpm's

could it be my ecu that is fualty?
is it the map sensor?
thought even it could be my dizzy but not really sure, so i know you guys know better than me so please there is a EG in need

Try checking the code next time it comes on, before tapping the ECU to make the CEL go away :thumb:

Are you refering to the red flashes? If yes where do i look exactly for the flash.
