I just found out my rack and pinion is leaking. Is it possible to replace my power steering rack with a manual steering rack? Or should I just buy a seal kit?

I would keep my power rack personally, better turn ratio. You can swap them out if you like. DIY past the link.

That's what I did when I removed my power steering. Just looped the lines. When I was at pull-a-part last week, I took the manual rack and subframe from a 95 coupe. I plan on swapping it out when I pull the motor. The turn ratio is better with the power rack, but I got a good enough deal on the parts to go ahead and buy them.

Nvm, guess I'm just going to buy a new power steering rack. I don't feel like tracking down a manual crossmember. Prob be a better idea in case my fiance ever needs to drive it. Any tips on dropping the crossmember? I will be doing it by myself.
