ok im 17 and have a 95 civic ex sedan its not terribly slow but it aint fast either i plan to do a motor swap in the future but with tight funds being that im in school and only work part time and my parents dont help with shit that will be a while probably be a while so this is what im lookin for cheap ways to make my car faster and get better gas milage if possible seeing that i drive 650 miles a week and its an auto thanks guys

Most Common mods are Intake, Headers, Exhaust or I/H/E So if you get a 2.5" Exhaust, Headers or an Intake that will set you up.

The Intake will be the easiest. just get a cheap one of ebay. or modify the one you have in your car.

Turbos can be cheap if you get Junkyard parts. However I would not recommend that unless you do alot of research on it. Doing I/H/E or as much of them as you can will help you out.

thank you what are some good brands of headers that are fairly in expensive also if you modify your stock intake is it illegal i have had some run ins with law and where i live they have nothin better to do than pop kids with loud or fast cars

suspension will make it faster around the corners and better gas mileage because of it.

yeah im currently saving up money for that too my whole front end is completely shot bushings tie end control arms and i need cv axels too my car is a mess but the motor and tranny are in great shape so i know that will help but im going to replace everything at once i have a set of adjustable lowering springs already just waitin for the money for the rest but thanks for the commeny btw congrats on ride of the month thats sick i hope to get that one day

As far as I know there is nothing illegal about modifying your intake. Exhaust on the other hand .

Check out ebay for a cheap header, Craigslist is another good site for the cheap. There is always Honda parts on there in Washington. I am getting a DC Header for 50 Bucks from someone I know locally.

Be Careful on getting an Exhaust Header + Exhaust if you have to get your emissions checked. In Washington State we are lucky enough to not have to have those checked
