#59457 my boy owns an 02 gti 1.8t and all i hear is how his car has 245 ft/lbs of torque and 210 hp. he then always refers to hondas having "PISS" for torque and thats why they cant catch traction. can someone please tell me what allows hondas to manage without such high torque ratios... and any other info to shut him down!!! thanks

#59471 just tell him "VTEC Bitch!"

jk

Hondas are torqueless monsters, engines with a short stroke will have less torque, but rev higher. All our power is in the upper RPM.

EG's weigh alot less than the VW's, especially with their oversized rims and stretched tires :P

#59604 hahahaha thanks man i know that the engines powere output = torgue multiplied by the rotational speed so with the hondas reving capabilities i figured i could shut him up but thanks much
