i have the NGK platinums on mine and there workin great but OEM works pretty well too from what ive heard id say if you put up the money for the NGK ones youd be pleased with the performance

LOL you're putting up the money for oem ones. the set i just dought cost 85 buck. but i also have +10 friends making 7-900hp on oem ones. just my 2c

OEM are not the best.
Magnecor makes the best plug wires. They last forever and they cost about the same or less as OEM and NGK. Right around $90. They are the only aftermarket plug wire company that doesn't make outrageous claims about their wires. Get the 8.5mm.
I had Magnecors on my daily driver for about 7 years and they were still on there when I sold the car.

if i buy the ones your talking about what kind of gain will i see? friends say you get some hp and mpg gain. is that true? thats what i was looking for. not the gay colors. also will i have to upgrade spark plugs?

No spark plug wires will give you any gain in power or fuel economy.
If your wires are bad, then fixing them will only return you to normal. It's pretty easy to see if your wires are bad. Watch your engine running in a dark garage.
No, you don't need any special spark plugs. Normal $2.50 Denso or NGK are what you're looking for.
People overestimate the ignition system because they don't understand it. Don't fall for any of that crap.
