arp head bolts question....z6

i just got my arp head studs for my d16z6 and the instructions say tell me what ftlbs to torque the bolts to but how tight do i screw the actual studs(the longs ones with the allen head bolts in them)....ui have never used arp before so all help is appreciated

just a little more than 'finger tight'.
torquing the nuts will do the rest.
i always run a tap thorough the threads to clean them out.
even when the blocks come back from the machine shop all shiney and clean, the threads are full of crap.

ight cool thanks for the help d-mon. but do you think i should run a tap through mine cause im not having anything resurfaced. anyways again thanks for the help i new to using arp haha

it's up to you.
i clean the threads on anything i will be torquing.
this is to insure the most accuracy.

also you must use the ARP assembly lube when installing the studs to get an accurate torque reading :thumb:
