Civic EG

I know this may sound like a noob kinda question, but on the dipstick, there is two holes on the bottom, at what level is the oil supposed to be at, the top hole or the bottom hole????

if its over the top line you have too much
if its under the bottom line you need oil
technically the top line is perfect but i have always just made sure its in the middle of the two lines

yup just keep it in the middle closer to the top hole. dont make it were the oil barly passes the bottom hole either.
