not necessarily. In order for a CEL to light up and a code to be stored, certain parameters have to be met. So unless it has constant and consistant failures, that particular code will not show.
Edit: Just saw your other thread, and it does not sound like it is your CYP. You will be better off to address the other topic you posted first.
