I was pouring over all the info on radiator and overheating problems on the site and the only thing I want to know is, where do I hookup the 2 cables coming from the fan switch so that when I switch on the car the fan would come on and stay on until I shut down.
I have a B18b3 motor and I just don't want to cut any wire for this but have no idea where to jump it on.

There's no good reason to do it this way. The fan is only helpful when the car isn't moving. Let the coolant switch and ECU do their job.

Do you have an overheating issue? Is your thermostat stuck closed? Is it pure coolant with no water? Is your water pump shit?

Waterpump is good and the thermostat works fine, the fan was blowing the wrong way though but I fixed that i think then the only other alternative would be get out old radiator drop new one in and check for a blockage somewhere, because in stop go traffic the car is perfect and no overheating but as soon as i get the speed up to over 80km/h it shoots up to the red and I think I am going to have to go to mechanic to get this sorted....

Sorry forgot to say that it is a pure water mixture because it steams out the whole time and have to fill up radiator every time before i drive, but the weird thing is that there is no leak whatsoever! I have really tried everything that I know (which is not that much) so I will have to go and make some mechanic rich...This morning was weird as well we are having one hell of a good rainstorm but even with all the water spraying up the car still overheats, but not that much as usually, and I have to drive with the heater on otherwise it will blow into the red within a few km's.

Flush your radiator out and buy new coolant, the straight mix not one that you use water with

The radiator is flushed but it still uses water have to fill it every time I drive, so I think it could be the headgasket but the car has no power decrease and the waterpump is working but still she uses water. I have done the coolant mix but nothing.
I hooked up the fan as it should be and the thermostat kicks in and the fan...So I think this is going to be expensive, but there is no oily or murky water in the system...
Just need to get it done before I screw up the motor

Will take my baby in to the mechanic to see if it is the head, wanted to do it on my own but don't have the tools to do it. Or I need to go out and just buy new radiator this one is a bit old...

What's the verdict? What did the mechanic say?

It was the radiator and the heater core that committed suicide, but it is going back again because the car is still overheating when I travel on open road above 80km/h

You can still have a leaking headgasket and not have those symptoms. I'd do a compression test

Cool thanks, I did not think to run a search for cooling system....facepalm...
But thanks will check that right now and lets see if it is the head gasket, really hope it is not the head gasket, thought that the mechanic would have checked that and done a compression test...

OK so i did the test with the radiator cap off and started the car no coolant was shooting through the radiator at all and it was filled to the brim.
Now there must be a leak somewhere that neither myself or the mechanic can see because he told me that there is no leak, but since this morning the car has been using coolant like hell in 25km the coolant drop a hell of a lot almost dry...
I just filled her up again and i am going to let her idle for a while and see if there is water leaking (standing in a dry spot now)

Stupid question but when the car gets hot will it be possible for the coolant to "escape" via steam from the overflow bottle? Because when i got to work this morning the steam was coming out of the bottle and it was hissing like hell. The other thing is the heater is on when I drive so just to help a bit with the cooling, but only works for a while and then gets overheating but I never drive the car if it gets to hot, it takes a while to get there. But the useless mechanic "fixed my heater core" it gave off heat before so I really don't know. So pissed with these bastards, think i going to get a specialist to look at her, would have loved to solve this on my own to learn more but doesn't look like that going to happen...

YES!!!! The overheating is now way better! I have checked all the hoses as well and added radiator stop and then i saw on the bottom pipe that there is a leak and it was not fasten to the radiator. But now she is back to normal, i am just glad that it is not head gasket or water pump.
