When my car is in Drive/reverse while holding the brake, my car makes this loud consistent chirping noise after it idles down. I was told that it could possibly be the motor mounts?

When its making that chirping noise, my engine it shaking really bad.

If needed I can record the sound of the chirping.

Does anyone know what this is?

Mine has been doing the same thing the past few days. It only happens after the engines warm and if I brake hard. I've noticed that when i ease on the brakes or take some pressure off the brake it's not as bad. Also only happens in drive, and does not happen all the time....

I would describe my noise as a vibration though and possibly coming from the passanger fender area. Gonna check it out tomorrow, hopefully I can solve both our problems

does it sound like bees/wasps under your bonnet by any chance?

Mine sounds like u left ur cell phone on vibrate on the fender

It turned out mine was my intake cone vibrating on the fender wall :eh:

Sounds like something's a little bit loose and rubbing against something causing that noise
