PORTING+POLISHING MY HEAD .HELP HEAD LOL

ok i ahve decided to port my head for my d16a6 bottoma and d16z6 head swap i will first do a head port on an extra head to try it out and see what happend ok heres what i know and if u guys can help if i misssed something .

port kit

paint porting spot with marker to see when u port how much u have take out

air drill tool thingi

pasta stuff for when porting and sanding down

let me know anything u knw about porting or if u have any vids, really appreciate it thanks T

Just a tip, leave the intake side rough. don't polish it. the rough edges help to atomize and mix the fuel/air.

I though it was the the other way around, if you make it smoother it will yield better fuel/air mixture, I could be wrong though. :?

No. You want it smooth on the exhaust side so it flows right through. But rough on the intake so it will mix better.

man all the years we have been porting head we have always left the exhaust as is and ported the intake , better flow in, and the exhaust will get filled up with well exhaust burnt shit so it doesnt matter,
