ok so i just replaced my VC gasket and i found that there was some oil in the spark plug well due to the bad gasket on the VC. i pulled it out and wiped everything off. the engine ran ok for a couple of days and now whenever i give it more than 1/4 throttle it jumps and backfires.

i think its either bad spark, or a clogged cat. coverter.

thoughts?

i put new plugs in today and it seems to be working a couple of days will tell the tale

sounds like a plug was fouled... problem shouldn't come back :thumb:

ya i hope so, this is my DD i can't really afford to have this thing break down. plus it annoys me
