Ok so i havnt been on here in a lil while just been busy and bein pissed at my car. I guess when my friend helped me with my swap, he didnt tighten the driver side motor mount bracket all the way...late march early april the bolts came out, my motor kinda fell it the axel boot off and the timing belt got all messed up. So i fixed it and got the 2 top bracket bolts in but not the bottom one because it was stripped but got the side one in. Got a new timing belt and got the timing done...now i was driving and i heard a weird noise, to find out that the bolts backed out and the motor didnt fall as much this time but my timing belt is getting eaten up on the inside...not sure if sumthin fell in but it looks like its just because it fell its getting scrapped up from somthin else..so i am without a car again

Im not sure if the holes up top are stripped or why they backed out, so im not quiet sure what i should do, tryin to get my car to a machine shop and have them tap it good, or use some kinda locktight bolts which i never used...any info would be greatly appreciated...thanks

What kind of mounts are you running?

are you running the lower front torque mounts? (the small ones on the sides that bolt to the frame)

hopefully we'll solve this one because that really sucks. I had a rear mount come loose once but no damage and I could still drive the car home, your problem is really expensive when it happens :(

Make the holes in the mount itself bigger and use a bigger bolt. The bigger bolt can rethread the hole. Use locktite
