a/c pulley belt whine
Posted: Sat Jun 21, 2008 5:22 amhey all, i have a LS-swapped EJ2, recently installed a ac belt that the previous owner didnt put on, teh a/c works but only on cooler outside temperatures....but my question is this:
been having this problem thats driving me crazy....ok, when i drive, it whines like it has turbo or somethin like that.....when i have a/c on, teh belts starts to screech like a lil girl
even sometimes at idle....
some workers that works next to me noticed today when i started up the car he's telling me that the a/c pulley is bad and he says ill get the whining on low rpms (1000-3000 rpm) and he was right. i was wondering if changing out the a/c pulley be easier on install or changing out the compressor.......any help would be greatly appreciated
