I just put the motor back in my hatch and it starts up, but it is just dumping gas into the cylinders. I mean DUMPING. There is a 10 foot puddle of gas under the car(open header right now). It is not throwing a code or anything, and I have checked and double checked my wiring. It has an AEM Fuel pressure regulator and the guage reads 40psi when it is running. I am a little lost as to what could be the problem. Bad regulator?

The motor is a B18C1.

Can you hear the injectors clicking? How long did the injectors sit on a non-running engine? You may have to get them balanced / blueprinted.

I wouldn't wait for gas to puddle up like that before you take action. Having that fuel vapor trickle up through a hot engine is a disaster waiting to happen.

I cleaned up the gas right away and pushed the car forward to avoid blowing the house up lol. I took apart the FPR and noticed the orange seal(I dont know what the exact name is) was torn. It seperates the fuel from the vacuum. Could this be the issue. How much does it cost, on average, to have the injectors re-blueprinted? I did not notice whether the iunjectors were clicking or not, I was to concerned about the fuel on the floor and I dont think it would be wise to mess with it until I hae made a change to fix the problem. Would it be wise to put a stock FPR back on to test if that is the main Issue? I do not have one so it would be like an $85 test.
