Wondering what the difference is besides the wiring.....and the general shape.
I have seen conversion harnesses done to make a obd-2 distributor work in a obd-1 car but am curious if this thought can be transfered to make a obd-0 distributor work in a obd-1 car?
application obd-0 ZC going into a obd-1 civic hatch.....this would make life alot easier but im thinking i already know the answer seeing as it hasnt been done before....

i got an obd-2 on my car same wires
the obd0 zc has cam angle sensor is on one cam though not the dizzy
i dont know on obd1 though should be about the same

OBD1 SOHC VTEC distributors are a black sheep. They don't mount properly to anything except OBD1 SOHC VTEC engines. At first you think you have it mounted, then when you go to set the base ignition timing, the adjustment is maxed out and you're not within spec.
OBD0, OBD1 NON VTEC, and OBD2 distributors are all the same shape. However, OBD0 use a different tooth count. If you had a standalone EMS this wouldn't be a problem.

Yea I was thinking of researching that part though using the obd 1 distributor i can get rid of the cam angle sensor but i was sorta hopeing since I cannot find a OBD1 at the moment if I could make a harness adapter to work with the obd1 harness but still use the obd0 distributor....
And the standalone EMS would be great perfect actually but yea....thats alot of money maybe if i get a cheap car and sell it who knows but as of right now its a dream.....

Yea i think an obd1 dose have a cam angle sensor though instead of like the zc its built into the distrib...
and on a side note i have no clue how i got a wrench lol one day it just showed up
